Sorry Boss
A hardcore card game about surviving the office
What it is
Sorry Boss is a small, fast card game with one idea: get through the working day. You play excuses, favours and small disasters against a boss who is not interested in any of them.
What hardcore actually means here
It does not mean complicated. It means the game does not apologise for you. There is no undo button, no tutorial holding your hand through the first ten minutes, and no difficulty setting hidden at the bottom of a menu. You lose, you see why, you go again.
How long a run takes
A few minutes. It was built to be played in the gap between two other things, which is also roughly when most people are pretending to work.
What it costs
Nothing. No subscription, no sign-up, no in-game purchases.
Questions
Is Sorry Boss free?
Yes. No fees, no subscription, no sign-up.
How long does one game take?
A few minutes. It is built for short sessions.
Is there a tutorial?
No, and that is deliberate. The rules are simple enough to learn by losing once.
Who made it?
Krishna Chandra Das, an independent developer in Canada, under the KCD BRAND name.
